This Chattanooga bridge element provided a wonderful composition with a strong central vertical and dynamic diagonals.   With the added interest of the bolt, cables and rivets this was a wonderful subject to paint.

I first noticed the two different types of the metals on this beater.  They had aged into interestingly different tones and textures.  Then the added luck of the peeling red paint on the handles made for a wonderful subject.
