This “Rollicking Rooftop” appeared out the window of an urban building. Perhaps years of adding new equipment resulted in this maze of metal. It provided me with the perfect subject for a trial triptych. I wanted to try my hand at a large scale piece, but needed to work out the kinks and find best process for combining three paintings into one. This was a fun, small project to get me ready for a large triptych to follow.
