Monthly Musings

One of the results of coming in for a close up view is abstraction of the subject.   In this painting the wonderful dimension and texture of the peeling paint was what I found most interesting.  What the object is was not important to me and most viewers will not be able to determine the subject object.   However I do not mind the viewer trying to discern the objects history if that brings them into the painting to view the details.
