I have revisited this wonderful fence made of various recycled mechanical pieces over the last 5 years and have enjoyed seeing the changes time brings to the fence. Sometimes there are vines almost covering it, then someone trims the area and the mold, moss, and fungus that have covered parts of the fence can be seen. Some of the colors have faded, and others emerged. Like all outdoor subjects the fence also changes with the time of day and season. So like Van Gogh’s study of haystacks or Monet’s garden studies, I plan to keep returning to the fence to continue discovering new scenes to paint.
